· Kingfisher Airlines (parent United Breweries Holdings Ltd) acquired 26% of Air Deccan parent, Deccan Aviation Ltd, and subsequently acquired an additional 20% of Deccan priced at the same INR155 ($3.82) per share. The initial stake cost UBG INR 5.46 billion. The Kingfisher-Deccan combine connects 75 cities and offers over 570 flights daily with a fleet of 80 aircraft.
