Sahara owned Amby Valley gets air connectivity

Sahara group owned Amby Valley City has tied up with AirOne for air connectivity between Mumbai and Aamby Valley.

 

The non scheduled operations were flagged off on February 4th, 2010 from Aamby Valley to Mumbai. An aircraft with seating capacity of 8 to 18 will fly initially from Friday to Monday between Mumbai- AambyValley. The project developer, Sahara India, has set up a self-sustained state-of-the-art private airport with a 1,200-metre runway and an independent ATC unit.

 

The company is also looking at launching a similar service to Pune and cities on Gujarat, in the near future.
