The Government has decided to levy User Development Fees (UDF) at Jaipur Airport @ Rs.150/- per embarking domestic passenger and @ Rs.1000/- per embarking international passenger. This has been done with effect from 1 January, 2010.
Levy of UDF at other select AAI airports viz. Amritsar, Udaipur, Varanasi, Trichy, Visakhapatnam, Mangalore, Ahmedabad, Trivandrum, Aurangabad, Dehradun, Srinagar, Surat are subject to examination and approval by the Ministry of Civil Aviation/Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA).
The above information was given by the Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Praful Patel in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today.
